The Naval Base Guam Library connects patrons to new ideas, information, and experiences through its multi-faceted collection and programming. We support military education, promote information literacy, and foster self-enrichment, recreation, and leisure for all through our comprehensive services.
COMPUTER SERVICES
Computer services are provided to all authorized patrons, and services are outlined below:

The NBG Library is a quiet escape from your busy life. It is a place for all authorized patrons to discover new skills and hobbies, and enhance their learning.
BORROWING POLICY
Authorized patrons may borrow various items from the library:
- Books: 20 at a time - 3 weeks
- Audiobooks: 3 at a time - 3 weeks
- DVDs & Bluray: 10 at a time - 3 weeks
- TV Series: 2 at a time - 3 weeks
- Video Games: 2 at a time - 3 weeks
- Board Games: 1 at a time - 3 weeks
Patrons are allowed two renewals per item, provided it is not on hold for another patron. Renewals may be made in person, by telephone, or online prior to the due date.
In compliance with our regulation, we cannot charge for overdue items. However, patrons with overdue item(s) will not be able to check out any new materials until the overdue item(s) have been returned.
LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS MUST BE REPORTED AND RESTITUTION MADE

Full STEAM Ahead: Toddler Storytime | 0 - 3 year olds with Caregivers
Explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts through stories and activities! These sessions are great for our toddlers, with books and activities that are age-appropriate.
Full STEAM Ahead: Preschool Storytime | 3 - 5 year olds with Caregivers
Explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts through stories and activities! These sessions are great for our toddlers, with books and activities that are age-appropriate.
Family Storytime | 0 - 7 year olds with Caregivers
Join us for our monthly evening storytime. Read books, sing songs, and dance with everyone before dinner time. This is a wonderful opportunity for those unable to attend our morning storytimes.
Homeschool Hour | 6 - 12 year olds
This weekly program focuses on diferent Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts with instruction and hands-on activities to support children's learning. This program helps with critical thinking, problem solving, supports creativity and innovation, and provides skills ready for the future.
LEGO Club | 6 - 12 year olds
This monthly program is for all of our master building children. Come out once a month to build with these colorful bricks. Afterwards, display your creation in the library display case to show everyone your skills.
Teen Anime Club | 13 - 17 years old
The library hosts a monthly anime club for teens where they can discuss their favorite anime, characters, and tropes within the popular genre. Participants play games and watch different anime episodes to be aware of new and old titles in the art.
Teen Read & Share | 13 - 17 years old
The NBG Library meets at the CYP Teen Center once a month to talk to Teens about new and current books that the teens are reading. Teens share what their favorite books and authors are. Participants are able to check out books from the library with an active library account.
Teen Time Out | 13 - 17 years old
This monthly program is for all of our master building children. Come out once a month to build with these colorful bricks. Afterwards, display your creation in the library display case to show everyone your skills.
Joy of Cookbooking Book Club | 18 years and older
Bakers, cooks, and people interested in learning to cook are invited to join this book club. This book club meets once a month to discuss different cookbooks or themes of cookbooks and recipes. Participants are invited to bring a dish from the cookbook and share what they thought of the recipe, the food, and any possible changes they did to it. Contact us to see what books or themes are for the month!
Adult Book Club | 18 years and older
All readers are welcome! Each month the book club focuses on one book and convenes to discuss its plot, characters, and what everyone took from the book. Books are available upon request from the library.
Adult Time Out | 18 years and older
Adults are invited to stop by the library for this monthly program to explore a new skill or hobby. From paper-making to designing their own thrift store art, a different activity is presented each month. Contact the library to see what the focus is for the month.
Music Bingo | 18 years and older
If you are a music aficionado and want to challenge your friends, join us monthly at Torpedoes & Tomahawks to play a few games of BINGO, with a twist, and enjoy some food. Listen to fifteen to thrity seconds of a song, if it's on your board mark it off. First one to "bingo" calls it out and wins a prize if you are correct. Each month features different categories and songs.
Summer Reading Program | All Ages
Every summer, the NBG Library is home to the Summer Reading Program. We provide prizes for all of our readers and then additional prizes for the top readers. Along with our reading incentives, we have many programs in line with the Summer Reading Theme.
DIGITAL LIBRARY
Along with having access to your brick and mortar MWR library branch, authorized users have access to the Department of Defense Digital Library (DODMWRLibraries.org). This resource provides access to digital e-books, downloadable audiobooks, digital magazines, educational databases, small business resources, and so much more.
